Owner/Operator Tod Welch
Electric Mountain Lodge burned down in a tragic accident in 2005. The owners rebuilt and eventually retired selling the lodge to a long time guests and friend Tod Welch. Tod had been taking his snowmobile freestyle group to Electric Mountain Lodge for pre x-games training for several years when he was offered the opportunity to purchase the resort. In a short time Tod found himself in a position to incorporate a snowmobile freestyle company into a snowmobile lodge in an ideal location and Electric Mountain Lodge emerged into the spotlight. Tod is based from his offices and home in Carbondale, where his main business Welch Excavation is located. Tod has a great appreciation and joy for the sport of snowmobiling and recreational ATV’s and the people who make it all fun! |
